Julie Harrison Appointed as UFCU’s First Chief People Officer

AUSTIN, Texas, August 19, 2024 — UFCU, a leading credit union in Texas, today announced it has welcomed Julie Harrison as its first Chief People Officer. In this newly established role on the senior executive team, Harrison will lead teams dedicated to talent, human resources, and diversity and inclusion. With over 20 years of experience in human resources, including more than a decade in senior roles within the financial services sector, Harrison brings a wealth of expertise to UFCU.

“Julie's extensive experience and deep commitment to positive impact make her an ideal fit for UFCU,” said CEO and President Michael Crowl. “She will play a key role in ensuring UFCU’s culture and work environment remain exceptional as we further our purpose, values, and aspiration.”

Julie earned a master's degree in business administration from St. Mary's College of California and a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on human resources from CSU, Hayward. Julie holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation and is an active mentor in the human resources community. She also completed a Disruptive Innovation program through Harvard Business School Executive Education.
