UFCU ACC Highland Branch Grand Opening Raffle Official Rules

  1. To be eligible for the UFCU ACC Highland Branch Grand Opening (the “offer” or “promotion”) the participant (collectively the “parties”) must meet the requirements established herein, including minimum UFCU membership requirements and qualification for an eligible UFCU Free Checking Share Account.

  2. Subject to the limitations contained herein, eligible persons will automatically be entered into the raffle of a $1,000 cash prize to celebrate the Grand Opening of the ACC Highland Branch beginning 12:01 AM CST, Sunday, September 1, 2024 through 11:59 PM CST, Thursday, October 31, 2024.

    • Automatic Entry. Eligible persons who open a UFCU checking account during the limited time raffle period will be automatically entered.
    • Raffle is limited to new UFCU members (with no historic UFCU account relationships) who open a UFCU checking account at the UFCU ACC Highland Branch beginning 12:01 AM CST, Sunday, September 1, 2024, through 11:59 PM CST, Thursday, October 31, 2024.
    • Must have a valid SSN to be entered into the Raffle.
    • Must be in an account that can receive dividends to be enter
      ed into the Raffle.
    • Limit to one entry per “new” primary member on the “new” account.
    • Offer does not apply to minor, transfer to minor share accounts, or commercial share accounts.

  3. Need not be present to win. Drawings will be held on the date indicated below at UFCU’s Administrative Offices located at UFCU Plaza, 8303 N MoPac Expressway Austin, TX 78759. Entries are not cumulative and are valid for one drawing only. Winner must have a valid Social Security number and photo identification must be provided.

  4. Winner will be notified via phone or email on the corresponding drawing date. To claim the prize, winner must respond to phone or email notification within two (2) calendar days, or the prize will be forfeited. In the event the winner is unable to be contacted or the winner’s timely response is not received, UFCU reserves the right to choose an alternate winner by random drawing from all remaining eligible entries no more than three (3) calendar days after UFCU becomes aware of the forfeiture. All decisions are final and are at UFCU's sole discretion. Each prize (retail value not to exceed $1000.00) will be awarded by random drawing of all eligible entries. Prizes will be deposited into each winning entrant’s UFCU account Savings Share “0000” within 60 days of being claimed by the winner. Member must be “in good standing” when raffle funds are disbursed to receive the raffle prize. If the member is not “in good standing”, as defined in the account opening agreement, then the member forfeits the raffle prize.

  5. By participating the participants individually agree to hold UFCU and its directors, officers, and employees harmless against any and all claims and liabilities arising out of any injury or damage that may be caused or claimed to be caused out of participating in the Sweepstakes and, if applicable, the acceptance or use of the prize.

  6. All state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner.

  7. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

  8. Fees can reduce earnings. The raffled funds are considered interest and may be reported on IRS form 1099-INT.

  9. By accepting a prize, the winner(s) consent(s) to disclosure of his/her/their name(s) and agree to grant UFCU the right to use his/her/their name(s), image, and vocals for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.

  10. The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win the raffle: Officers, directors, independent contractors and employees of UFCU, and all of their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, in-laws and/or the household members of each). The Sweepstakes is intended solely for viewing and participation in the United States and must be construed and evaluated solely under federal, state and local laws.

  11. By submitting an entry, you accept and agree to be bound by these Raffle rules. Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification. The Raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

  12. UFCU may suspend or amend the official rules of the UFCU ACC Highland Branch Grand Opening Raffle
